The Girl’s team was victorious against Warwick yesterday. They battled against heavy winds and cold temperatures. The final score was 73-67. Our 4x4 and 4x8 A-relays contributed to the win as well as many individuals. Thank you to our scoring athletes: Della Hundley, Julianna Vanderkooy, Allison Potter, Alyanna Thompson, Melody Barrow, Aspyn Merrick, Leah Meberg, Ava Dymond, Elysia Jackson, Robeanna Fontana, Emma Sorge, Anna Hajek, Carla Phanor, and Eva Sienkwicz. Special performances were made by Nyla Blakes, Eva Sienkwicz, Robeanna Fontana, Carla Phanor, and Alyanna Thompson. Nyla matched her high jump PR jumping 4-10, Eva threw a PR in shot put with a mark of 27-11.25, Robeanna ran a 200 meter PR of 27.5, Carla ran an open 100 PR of 12.96, and Alyanna debuted in the 400 hurdles with a time of 89.82. Great job ladies!
