Event MVP

Performance

As the leader of the boys varsity team, Juan Hernandez has made a commitment to guide his team to greater things. What better proof than a 16:01 in his first race of the 2019 Cross Country season. He needs to be careful though, as Captain Henry can easily take the reins at any moment.

CO-MVP
Henry Friedman
With an exceptional first race, Captain Henry makes a statement with his new personal record of 16:02. The young man is hungrier than ever for another City Championship.
Andrea Gallardo
Captain and leader of the girls varsity squad, Andrea, shows us that this year might be the year for the lady Gondoliers. With a solid 19:42 personal record, Andrea lets LA City opponents know that beating her and her team is not going to be an easy task this season.
Elin Nowak
Freshman Elin Nowak runs an impressive 22:21 in her first ever cross country course and establishes her spot in the top 7 varsity girls team. Stay tuned to see what this talented rookie can accomplish this season!
