South Pasadena, CA — South Pasadena SPHS Freshman and Monrovia played to a 5-5 tie on Monday. South Pasadena SPHS Freshman tied the game on a double in the seventh inning by Quinn Sterling. Monrovia got things started in the first inning when they singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Tyler Vargas started on the mound for South Pas followed by Quinn Sterling and Luke Riffle. South Pasadena SPHS Freshman knotted the game up at five in the bottom of the seventh inning. South Pasadena SPHS Freshman notched four runs in the fourth inning. Jude Felix and Richard Conti all drove in runs in the frame. Stirling led South Pasadena SPHS Freshman with two hits in three at bats. Monrovia was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error.
