Hemet, CA — The Bulldogs took the lead late to defeat Temple City 5-4 on Saturday. Hemet Trailed 4-2 in the bottom of the sixth inning when Brooklyn LaChappa doubled on a 1-2 count, scroing 3 runs. Temple City scored three runs early in the game, but the Bulldogs still had plenty of fight left in them and pulled out the victory. Kassidy Long led the Bulldogs to victory on the rubber. Long surrendered one run on four hits over sixt and two-thirds innings, striking out six with NO walks. LaChappa went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead the bulldogs in hits. The Bulldogs move on to the CIF-SS QTR Finals June 8th to face Summit.
