Hemet, CA — Hemet ran off with the lead late in the game in a 3-1 victory over Segerstrom on Thursday. The game was tied at one with The Bulldogs batting in the bottom of the fifth when Payton Priefer singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. The pitching was strong on both sides. Kassidy Long struck out four, for the Bulldogs. Segerstrom got things moving in the second inning. #32 hit a solo homer. Hemet knotted the game up at one in the bottom of the fourth inning. Chloe Payne hit a solo homer. Long led things off in the pitcher's circle for the Bulldogs. The fireballer lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out four.
