Missouri City, TX — The Wolfpack and Stampede faced off in an instant classic Super Bowl game that will undoubtedly go down in history as one of the greatest games ever. After trading leads throughout the first three quarters of play, the Wolfpack found themselves in a 14 point deficit with one minute and forty-eight seconds to play. A 58 yard kickoff return by Vondell Hargrove set up the offense for a very quick score, where the arm of Wesley Geisler leads JD Duncan into the endzone. The 2 point play followed with Geisler hitting Dalton Flowers. This brought the deficit to 6 points. Kevin Provance came in with a perfect onside kick at the perfect time which was recovered by CJ Lewis. Next, it was Geisler connecting with Flowers, once again to tie the game at 40. Provance drills the extra point to give the Wolfpack the lead with 10 seconds remaining. After a good return by the Stampede, Cedric Harris was able to seal the game with an interception on a last-play heave. The course of the game may not have been perfect, but the TUFA season ended with the Wolfpack with a perfect season, 13-0!
