Fairfield, CT — In a battle of two undefeated teams Fairfield Ludlowe came up just short losing 23-12. Ludlowe's defense was the MVP of the game, giving the offense chance after chance to make up an early 12-0 deficit. Rhett Davies had a big interception to end a New Canaan drive, the falcons also benefitted from a New Canaan fumble. Cooper Seek set the tone early making big tackles showing the New Canaan Rams we were ready to compete. The Falcons finally got on the board in the 2nd quarter when Justin Toothaker took a screen pass from Grant Stupak to the house. This 80 yard touchdown was quickly followed up by another 80 yard touchdown to Ramzee Atta. The falcons battled but just came up short in the end. Ludlowe has a bye this week leading up to the big clash with cross town rival Warde. The falcons will look to stretch their record to 8-1 in that game putting their stamp on one of the best seasons ever had at the freshman level.
