Elena was engaged from the start in a 2-1 last seconds victory over a tough Joel Barlow team. She provided a spark during a rough first half that ultimately set the pieces in motion for an improved second half that held Barlow to very few chances. Her toughness at the back was contagious, and led to two second half goals.
