Ventura, CA — The JV Buena Bulldogs visited the Ventura High Cougars for a rivalry showdown. Tight End Jordan Watts sparked the bulldogs offense with multiple big catches in the first half while running back Quinn Linker contributed largely to the downhill run game for the dogs. Defensively, new starting safety Erick Guzman recorded several tough open field solo tackles. Defensive Tackle Moises Lantigua also motivated the Bulldogs with his competitive play throughout the game. The Bulldogs fell to the Cougars 42-6 but hope to bounce back this week against the Cabrillo High Conquistadors.
