Davidson, NC — Corvian Community got their season started with a bang Thursday night vs Davidson Day with a huge 86-40 victory! They were led by senior guard RJ Seymour, who racked up 19 points, 2 assists, 5 rebounds, and 6 steals in the win. He also led the Cardinals in efficiency rating (22) and game score (17.1) in just 17:58.2 on the court. He excited the fans with his dazzling play on both ends, swarming the Davidson Day guards, and throwing down a couple of mean dunks on the other end. Sophomore Jack Hudson was also dazzling off the bench, scoring 11 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds, dropping some incredible dimes including a show-stopping no-look over the head pass after a steal for an assist. Junior Forward Sam Harris also flirted with a double double, scoring 13 points along with 8 rebounds, and nearly throwing down an incredible alley-oop dunk, on which he was fouled. The Cardinals will travel to Covenant Day next week for their 2nd game!
