Choctaw, OK — Bats were blistered on Friday, but Tuttle Tigers Varsity couldn't quite get the job done against Choctaw and lost 11-6. Choctaw got things moving in the first inning. Choctaw scored one run when Bacon singled. After Tuttle Tigers Varsity scored three runs in the top of the fourth, Choctaw answered with three of their own. Tuttle Tigers Varsity scored when Lexie Sirman doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs. Choctaw then answered when an error scored one run for Choctaw, #20 singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Kelsie Koeltzow induced Yrwin to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored. Choctaw pulled away for good with six runs in the third inning. In the third Buller singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Cardens tripled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs, Grince singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and Yrwin grounded out, scoring two runs. Emerson was on the rubber for Choctaw. The fireballer went five innings, allowing six runs on nine hits, striking out one and walking zero. Jentry Henderson started the game for Tuttle Tigers Varsity. The lefty surrendered eight runs on ten hits over three innings, striking out two and walking zero. Koeltzow threw one inning out of the bullpen. Tuttle Tigers Varsity racked up nine hits. Skyler Rodgers, Shelby McAfee, and Kinlee Riley all managed multiple hits for Tuttle Tigers Varsity. Riley, McAfee, and Rodgers each collected two hits to lead Tuttle Tigers Varsity.
