Santa Fe Springs, CA — Behind great pitching from Analyse Garcia and Jessica Lopez, Santa Fe beat John Glenn 9-1. Analyse gets the win pitching 4 innings, giving up 2 hits with 3 K's and no runs. Jessica came in to finish game with 1 hitter and 7 K's. Our bats came alive today with 11 hits and 2 walks. Alycia Castro went 2 for 4 including a shot that sent the starting pitcher to the ER. We send our prays and truly hope Ashley Armas is ok. She took a hard line drive off the face. Maiya Lopez and Stephanie Jimenez both were perfect at the plate today. Maiya 4 for 4 with 2 RBI's. SStephanie went 1 for 1. Alizah Ayon, Baylee Ledesma, Brianna Cortez all went 1 for 2. The best stat the I like was the fact we went 7 for 14 with runners in scoring position.
