San Juan Capistrano, CA — We had a great team effort for the win tonight against a scrappy Chaparral team. Offensively we were clicking early, with Jack Almy and Jared Referente leading the way with 5 and 4 goals respectively. Defensively we stepped up early, followed our game plan, and got better. Jack Neiger had a great day in the cage with 11 saves including a few made right on the doorstep. Nile Jefferson led the defense while Freshman Jackson Walters made his varsity debut at the faceoff X and did not disappoint. Jack Zimmer is becoming a swiss army knife sort of player out there and was great on the wings, on defense and in transition. Congrats boys and on the next one!
