Columbia scored on an error, a fielder's choice by Kyle Blake, a single by Jacob Skarlis, an error, and a single by Naim Greenberg-Nielsen in the second inning. The Spartans struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Columbia, giving up 11 runs. Columbia got things started in the second inning. An error scored two runs for Columbia. Burnt Hills scored four runs in the sixth inning. Noah DiCaprio, John Wells, Luke Haluska, and Daniel Woloszyn all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
