La Cañada, CA — The South Pasadena Freshman Tigers mounted a strong rally in the fifth inning to pull within 2 runs of the La Cañada Spartans on Wednesday, but ultimately found themselves on the wrong end of a 10-4 loss. Benjamin Regan started the game and pitched 4 innings, striking out 6 and giving up 1 earned run. Brandon Woo finished the game with no earned runs allowed. Harley Arrieta had a great day at the plate, leading the Tigers with 2 hits in his 4 at bats. In the field, first baseman Bob Rosenberg turned a timely unassisted double play in the 5th inning. The Tigers will play their next game on Thursday, February 24 against the Alhambra Moors.
