South Pasadena, CA — The South Pasadena Freshman Tigers came out on the wrong end of a 7-3 game against Burroughs on Saturday. Strong outings by starter Bob Rosenberg and reliever Beck Brenek who combined for seven strikeouts, were not enough to overcome the hitting of the Bears. In the bottom of the seventh inning, down by six, the Tigers mounted a rally that gave hope to the crowd ultimately fell short. Aiden St. John legged out a single to get the inning started.
