San Marino, CA — The South Pasadena Freshman Tigers defeated rival San Marino Titans 11-4 on Wednesday, March 30 with each player contributing to the win. The bats were firing for the Tigers with huge doubles by Andres Garavito, Nico Mostert, and Raphi Hall. A.J. Arreola and Charles Esnault contributed hits, while Benjamin Regan, Aiden Duley, and Evan Barreau added RBIs. The offensive onslaught led to 11 Tiger runs. On the pitching side, aces Regan and Bob Rosenberg limited the Titans to one earned run. Regan struck out five in four strong innings and Rosenberg shut the door with three spotless frames of his own. Rosenberg struck out four while surrendering only one hit. A strong Tigers defense supported the pitchers. Garavito, Arreola, and Aiden St. John anchored the infield while outfield catches from Hall and Esnault kept the Titans from scoring. With their third league win, the Tigers will look to defeat the Temple City Rams on Saturday, March 9.
