Fairfield, CA — Vanden Vikings Varsity Clinches Lead In Fourth Inning To Defeat Wood Vanden Vikings Varsity snatched the lead late in the game in a 14-4 victory over Wood on Thursday. The game was tied at four with Vanden Vikings Varsity batting in the bottom of the fourth when Darryl Dilworth's sac fly scored one run for Vanden Vikings Varsity. Dilworth led Vanden Vikings Varsity to victory by driving in four runs. Dilworth went 3-for-3 at the plate. Dilworth drove in runs on a home run in the first, a sacrifice fly in the fourth, and a triple in the fifth.
