Lake Elsinore, CA — Shelbie Valencia and Charlotte Forniss combined to pitch a 5 inning shutout of OC Pride to claim the championship. The Firecrackers loaded the bases in the 3rd inning but were unable to capitalize. With the no score in the game Sofia Cervantes led off the bottom of the fifth inning with a pinch hit line drive single to center. Kamryn Davis followed with a hard hit to third that got through. Corissa Sweet came up with runners on first and second and promptly banged a single off the leg of the pitcher to drive in the first run. After loading the bases Amanda "Panda" Gull took a pitch deep to center for a double clearing the bases. The Firecrackers were not done they scored four more runs before the game was called do to mercy. The Firecrackers finished 4-0 on the day scoring 39 runs and giving up 4. Over all they finished 6-1 on the weekend.
