Allentown, PA — Ethan Reccek would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Tuesday, driving in four on two hits to lead the Easton Red Rovers past Louis E. Dieruff 17-4 on Tuesday. Easton secured the victory thanks to ten runs in the first inning. Blake Heitzman, Stephen Ricicki, Cole Transue, Justin Ramirez, Simeon Reed, and Reccek each had RBIs in the big inning. Jacob Hirner led the Easton Area Red Rovers Varsity to victory on the hill. The pitcher surrendered three unearned runs on three hits over three and a third innings, striking out three. Trevor Silvius threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Easton goes to 1-0 on the season and will face Whitehall High School on Thursday at 4pm March 31st in Whitehall.
