Emmaus, PA — Easton Area Rovers JV stole the lead late in the game in a 6-4 victory over Emmaus on Thursday. Spencer Brooking had an RBI double to tie the game at three in the top of the seventh. Nicholas Chieffo followed with a doubled of his own on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs allowing the Rovers to take the lead. Emmaus opened up scoring in the first inning, scoring two. Easton hurler, Braden White, entered the game in relief to get out of a bases loaded jam to keep the game close. Anthony Suffness took the hill in the second to lead the Easton Area Rovers JV to victory. The fireballer lasted five innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out five and walking one. Matthew Zingales closed out the game to earn the save. Easton Area Rovers JV tallied eight hits. Suffness and Spencer Brooking all managed multiple hits for Easton Area Rovers JV.
