Bethlehem, PA — Easton coasted to victory over Bethlehem Catholic 9-2 on Thursday. The Rovers got things started in the second inning when George Thomas drew a walk, scoring one run. Easton scored four runs in the fifth inning. The offensive onslaught came from singles by Stephen Ricicki and Justin Ramirez and a walk by Brandon De la Rosa. Jacob Hirner earned the win for Easton. The righthander lasted six innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out two and walking zero. Ryan Taynton threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. McNally took the loss for Bethlehem Catholic. The hurler went five innings, allowing nine runs on nine hits and striking out four. The Rovers tallied ten hits on the day. AJ Thomas, Ramirez, and Patrick Keegan each had multiple hits for Easton. AJ Thomas led Easton with three hits in four at bats. Easton plays Nazareth at Coca Cola Park at 6pm Friday April 29th.
