Bethlehem, PA — Easton fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 6-0 loss to Liberty on Monday. Liberty scored on an error, a double by Scheiner, a triple by Gyanch-Quirk, and a single by Rivera in the first inning. The Rovers struggled in the first committing three errors giving up 5 unearned runs. Liberty opened up scoring in the first inning. An error scored two runs for Liberty. A double by Justin Ramirez in the seventh inning with two outs broke up the no hitter and was Easton's only hit. Stephen Ricicki took the loss for Easton. Ricicki allowed four hits and five unearned runs over four innings, striking out four. Ramirez went 1-for-3 at the plate to lead Easton in hits. Liberty totaled seven hits in the game. Rivera and Scheiner all managed multiple hits for Liberty. Rivera led Liberty with three hits in three at bats. Liberty was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Easton will play an unknown opponent as of yet this Thursday in the opening round of the EPC playoffs at 4pm.
