Easton, PA — Easton Area Freshman Rovers jumped out to an early lead over Gov. Mifflin and took home a 7-2 victory on Saturday. Easton Area Freshman Rovers scored on a walk by Rowan Galiotto, a walk by Chad Perry, a single by michael martino, and a stolen base by perry in the first inning. After Gov. Mifflin scored one run in the top of the third, Easton Area Freshman Rovers answered with one of their own. Easton Area Freshman Rovers then answered when Khamryn Singto singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run. Jacob Hackman earned the win for Easton Area Freshman Rovers. The hurler lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out five. Chase Kinney threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen. J Seifrit took the loss for Gov. Mifflin. Seifrit lasted two and a third innings, allowing three hits and six runs. Galiotto led Easton Area Freshman Rovers with two hits in three at bats. Perry led Easton Area Freshman Rovers with four stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 13 stolen bases.
