Canton, OH — The Boardman Freshmen Baseball team fell short 13-9 against Glenoak in the first game of a doubleheader. A tough bottom of the sixth made things difficult for the Spartans as they tried to fight back in the seventh, but fell short. Landon Whippo hit his first homerun of the year, had 2 RBIs, and reached base three other times. Kaden Mayhew went 3-5, 2 runs, and 1 RBI. Grayson Eicher, Ivan Rudiak, Jayden Doerr, Mason Nawrocki, and Cory Pekkanen all added an RBI.
