Kalamazoo, MI — Portage Northern Huskies Varsity defeated Kalamazoo Christian Varsity Comets 11-0 on Tuesday as three pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Jacob Martin induced a groundout from Noah Yonkers to finish off the game. Portage Northern Huskies Varsity secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the fifth inning. The rally was led by singles by Braden Welke, Jackson Barnard, Maxwell Pidgeon, and Alex Downey, by Carson Stripling, and a fielder's choice by Sam Carlisle.
