Burnsville, MN — Burnsville Varsity Blaze stayed in it until the end, but Shakopee Varsity Sabers pulled away late in a 7-4 victory on Thursday. The Blaze fell behind 3-0 before battling back with 2 runs in the 5th and 6th innings to take a 4-3 lead going into the 7th inning. The Sabers scored 4 runs in the top half of the inning, but the Blaze rally fell short. Collin Heckman started the game for the Blaze.
