Burnsville, MN — Burnsville Sophomore's win contest against Rosemount, 5-3 Burnsville evened things up at one in the bottom of the second inning when Luke Dam's sac fly scored one run for the Blaze. Burnsville pulled away for good with one run in the third inning. In the third Connor Asleson singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run. Ben Woelfel earned the victory on the mound for Burnsville. The fireballer went five innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out four. Dam and JJ Johnson entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Dam recorded the last three outs to earn the save. Burnsville collected 11 hits. Woelfel, Luke McHugh, Noah Lindsey, and Thomas Schaefers all had multiple hits for Burnsville.
