Burnsville, MN — Burnsville Varsity Blaze fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 15-4 loss to Farmington Tigers Varsity on Tuesday. The Tigers took the lead on a single in the first inning, but the Blaze struggled to contain the high-powered offense of the Tigers, giving up 15 runs. The Blaze notched four runs in the fifth inning. Jonah Dawson, Jacob Neutz, and Cole Sieben, all singled and drove in runs in the frame. Nick Discher took the loss for the Blaze. The righthander surrendered ten runs on 12 hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out eight and walking one. AJ Galvin made is first varsity relief appearance, giving up five runs on seven hits and striking out one over the final inning and a third. The Blaze collected six hits in the game, Sieben went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Blaze in hits. Dawson, Neutz, Eli Keirstad and John Santelman had the other hits for the Blaze.
