Ridgefield Park, NJ — In our last game of the season we had the #16 team in the state come to The Pit. We knew this game was going to be a challenge, because Westwood has outscored its opponents 287-27 this season. Although the outcome of a loss is not what we ever want, the coaching staff is very proud with the way the boys played. The score was RP-0 WW-0 after the first quarter and 14-0 at halftime. The defense kept us in the game with Joseph Rinaldi making 10 tackles and Kashawn Wallace's interception. Will Then was also very disruptive on the defensive line and made Westwood's QB uncomfortable all night in the pocket. Brevin Cooney was able to eclipse the 100 yard rushing mark against one of the state's top 5 defenses. We are now looking forward to the playoffs and team morale is high. Every team is 0-0 in the playoffs and we're ready to play Ridgefield Park tough football against any team that we face. GO SCARLETS!!!
