Auburn, WA — Baden Black Sox snatched the lead late in the game in a 9-5 victory over Wildcats 14U on Tuesday. The Black Sox trailed 5-4 in the top of the sixth inning when Haupert singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs. The game was back and forth early. The Wildcats captured the lead in the second inning, when Steffin singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs. Sneed was the winning pitcher for Baden. The pitcher surrendered two runs on one hit over one inning striking out one. Tran threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Ward started the game for Baden. The righthander surrendered three runs on eight hits over four innings, striking out one. Baden totaled 11 hits in the game. Keane, Tran, and Haupert each managed multiple hits. Tran and Keane had three hits each to lead Baden. With this win the Baden Black Sox move to 12--2 in Seattle Elite league, and 21-7 overall in the season including tournament games.
