Kennewick, WA — In their King of Kennewick tournament opening game, Baden Black Sox sailed to an easy victory over the Outlaws 14U from Sisters, OR on Saturday. In the first inning, Baden go their offense started when Eaton singled on a 0-2 count, scoring 2 runs. Baden scored four runs in the sixth inning. Sneed, Abaga, Story, and Bishop powered the big inning with RBI's. Story earned the vitory on the hill for Baden. The lefty lasted five innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking our 11. Tran threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. Pulver took the loss for the Outlaws. Pulver went four innings, allowing six runs on eight hits and walking one. Baden tallied ten hits in the game. Lowe, Ward, and Abaga had two hits each leading the Blacks Sox in hits.
