Beverly Hills, MI — Fridays game was a good test for the young Irish soccer team. Two Penalty Kick opportunities for Detroit Country Day helped to them to stay on top of the match. Both teams played very fast and physicla soccer, but DCD had the better chances in the first half and FGR was unable to come back from 0-3 down.

Coming out against County Day we had a good energy level, but Charlie was far and away the catalyst for better play that developed for us throughout the game. DCD was a a fast physical team that pushed us to play better. Charlie lead by example and brought up our level of play as we progressed through the game. Well done Charlie!
