Fillmore, CA — Anthony Tafoya completed 22 of 24 passes for a school-record 326 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 54 yards and a score as the Flashes (2-2) halted their two-game losing streak. “We got our swagger back,” Fillmore coach Charlie Weis said. Tafoya broke Jared Schieferle's record, set in 2019, by 15 yards. Jarod Uridel had eight catches for 150 yards, Nate Delgadillo caught nine passes for 127 yards and a touchdown and Jathan Magana also caught a TD pass for Fillmore. David Jimenez also ran for 82 yards and two TDs on nine carries. The Flashes play at Bakersfield-South in a nonleague game this Friday night.
