Macomb Township, MI — The Big Reds used a huge second half to sneak past the Cougars 63-54. Down 25-17 at halftime and 31-17 early in the second half, Kaelin Shaw took over the game scoring 23 of his game high 30 points after the break. The Big Reds were able to neutralize the Cougars size advantage outrebounding the Cougars 34-32. If not for a few too many turnovers and a poor performance from the free throw line the Big Reds played their best all around game of the season. The Big Reds held the cougars to 38% shooting and 23% from the free throw line, while making a season high 6 three pointers of their own. The Big Reds will host the Crusaders of L'Anse Creuse North on Thursday Jan 26th.

Kaelin Shaw

Completely took over the game, making 5 3 pointers and getting into the lane to the basket at will. He used a variety of finishes on hiw way to 30 points. He also had 8 rebounds and 5 assists to go with it.

Kameron Pettway

Continuing to grow into his role as primary wing defender. Kam competes at an extremely high level and has become a very disciplined defender. Held Owen Colpaert to 5/15 shooting and 0/4 from the three point line, while also chipping in 7 points. Led the team in plus/minus at a plus 14.

#3 PG, SG, SF

Isaiah Jolliffi

Isaiah played his butt off and survived a Coach Smith melt down to have 12 points and 7 rebounds. Isaiah had a season low 1 turnover as well and is continuing to grow with his shot selection/ decision making. He has really turned the corner this last week. Cannot wait for the rest of the season.

Jordan Wright

In what would be considered a subpar game for the Junior Forward he was still able to contribue 5 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 blocks.
