San Juan Capistrano, CA — After several blowout games, the JSerra JV Boys lacrosse team overcame a tough and physical Los Alamitos at home yesterday. In a 10-6 victory, the boys brought a lot of energy and passion to the game, making for an exciting, albeit intense second half. The defense fought hard, forcing turnovers and slowing down their offense. Goalie, Jack Pearl saved 11 shots on goal, holding them to just 6 goals, only 1 of which was scored in the 4th quarter. Offensively, the team showed great passing and teamwork throughout the game. Asher Stevenson and Douglas Lorimer had 4 goals each, with Gavin Goodrich and Luke Bittner scoring 1 goal each. With the sun shining and the stands full of fans this was a fun game for all! Next up is Crean at home on Tuesday and Aliso Niguel away Friday night. Go Lions!
