Pittston, PA — Jaidyn Johnson went 9-for-10 from the foul line — hitting 5-of-6 in the decisive fourth quarter — to help the Nanticoke Area boys basketball team hold on for a 42-40 victory over Pittston Area on Tuesday. The Trojans led 24-13 at halftime before the host Patriots nearly pulled off the second-half comeback. Johnson finished with 16 points to lead Nanticoke. Silvio Giardina scored 17 for the Patriots and Anthony Cencetti added 13.
