Tustin, CA — On Monday afternoon, the Foothill Knights visited the Tustin Tillers and the crosstown rivalry. The night going into the game 4-0 after beating Beckman last week. The youngest group of the Foothill program has been working hard to keep their streak going. The Foothill boys came prepared and ready to go in the first half on a corner Garrett Zehner, sending a low cross to find Devin Orozco for the first goal in the game the night go up early. The Knights kept applying pressure, looking for their second goal, on a shot from archer Andrade, taking a little deflection and going in for his first goal of the season. Going into the second half the momentum was swinging back-and-forth, but to seal the game away. Garrett Zehner dribble down the left wing finding Alex Rios inside the box for the third to seal the game. A great performance, by Matthew Lantzer, coming up with huge saves to keep the clean sheet, and also a great defensive performance by the back line. The Foothill Frosh Soph boys improved to 5-0 on the season looking to keep the momentum going away @ Irvine high school on Friday at 3:15.
