Santa Fe Springs, CA — The Chiefs recorded their first win of the season after taking a 1-0 lead early in the first half. Santa Fe won the ball high up the pitch and Nathaniel Santana touched the ball through for Johnny Escobar to slot home. Escobar continued to threaten Dominguez with strong runs and attacking play through out the game. The defense held up against a strong attack, with Maquech Lizarraga easily handling the Dons late efforts on goal. The Chiefs play next on Tuesday versus Arroyo High School.
