Diamond Bar, CA — South Pasadena, CA — 2/14/23 ADELANTO TOURNAMENT South Pasadena JV baseball squared off with Diamond Bar in a cold and wet game leading to a Rain Delay in the end with a 1-2 score. This was the first of five straight away games of their big road trip to start the season. Phil Malatesta led things off with a crack to right center for a base hit. Bob Rosenberg went four innings on the mound with three strike outs with great speed and good control of his pitches. He recorded 12 outs on the bump. Gabe Vogel recorded the only other hit for the team. Brandon Woo came in in relief for one inning out of the bullpen. Malatesta tagged up for the only run on a fly out by Charlie Vogel. The game was called by a Rain Delay and was incomplete.
