Parlin, NJ — Bombers coasted to an easy victory over Perth Amboy Panthers Varsity 11-1 on Saturday Bombers fired up the offense in the first inning, when Thomas Schlaline singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs. Bombers notched three runs in the third inning. The offensive onslaught came from a walk by Michael Robinson, a single by Jake Romanello, and a sac fly by Michael Colonnello. Romanello got the win for Bombers. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out four. Jack Zapotizcny threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Justin Foy started the game for Perth Amboy Panthers Varsity. The righty went two innings, allowing five runs on three hits and striking out four. Jose Neris, Franciso Luna, and Cesar Suriel each contributed in relief for Perth Amboy Panthers Varsity.
