Nampa, ID — Skyview Hawks ran off with the lead late in the game in a 10-3 victory over Mtn. View on a sunny Thursday afternoon. The game was tied at two in the fifth when Asha Zamora homered on a 0-2 pitch scoring two runs. The Hawks secured the win thanks to six runs being scored in the sixth inning. The offense caught fire from five players hitting RBI’s. Little, Bettencourt, Brown, Holloway, and Howard were responsible for sending runners across home plate in the inning. Asha Zamora pitched all seven innings, allowing five hits and three runs while strikeout eight. The Hawks offense collected 11 hits on the outing. The Skyview Hawks Softball team plays again tomorrow at home vs Timberline High School at 5:00pm.
