Port Washington, WI — The youth players of our community cheered loudly to get Port home 7-3 as once again Savanna Miller shined in the pitchers circle. The freshman went the distance striking out 6, and limiting a solid West Bend East lineup to 5 scattered hits. At the plate Hope Gilhooly led the way with two hits, and the Miller sisters, Shelby Cash, and Emily Pujanauski contributed one hit a piece. This was a long awaited game where everything came together with good pitching and defense, timely hitting, and solid pitching. Great job girls! Tomorrow we play Hartford away for our final conference game of the season.
