Annville, PA — The Annville-Cleona Track and Field team suffered their first loss of the season to fellow Lebanon County school, ELCO. Both the Boys and Girls put together nice performances both on the track and the field but it wasn't enough to get the overall victory. Although the final score might not indicate it, this was the best day of the season for some of our athletes. When the coaches analyzed the results, there were a total of 47 personal/season best in the events throughout the meet (PR on attached document represents a "Personal Record"). On the girls side, the 4x800 relay was victorious as well as the following individuals: Miracle Hershey (100,200), Caitlin Shay (400), Olivia Viozzi (800), Mackenzie Stellmach (3200), and Sage Sherk (Discus) On the boys side, the 4x800 relay was victorious as well as the following individuals: David Moran (400), Landon Hostetter (800), Matthew Clemson (3200), and Noah Gunderson (High Jump). With so many great performances, the captains had some tough decisions with selecting our "Dutchmen of the Meet". Our 8 team captains selected teammates based on their attitudes, efforts, and performances from our meet. Our second Dutchmen of the Meet for the ELCO Meet include (drum roll please): Miracle Hershey (chosen by Kaylyn Stokes & Ali Konneh), Emily Maag (chosen by Nory Mitchell), Cassi Clemson (chosen by Sarah Speraw), Sophia Caporaletti (chosen by Claire Hoover), Gabe Weber (chosen by Alex Long), Dominic Viozzi (chosen by Dylan Clements), and Landon Hostetter (chosen by Noah Gunderson). Our AC Dutchmen take on Octorara at home on Tuesday. Meet begins at 4! Let's Go Dutchmen!
