Boise, ID — Despite seeing its five-run lead whittled down by the end, Skyview Freshman Hawks still-held off Boise for a 5-3 victory on Saturday. Boise tallied two runs in the failed comeback. Rodriguez and Hassinger powered the rally with RBIs. Skyview Freshman opened up scoring the second inning, when Skyview Freshman scored on a stolen base during Zoe Apelian's at bat. Then Zoe Apelian singled. Eli Strong toed the rubber for Skyview Freshman. The pitcher went five innings, allowing one run on two hits and striking out two.
