Fountain Valley, CA — In the final Wave League match of the season, the varsity golf teams from Laguna Beach high school and Fountain Valley high school faced off at the Mile Square golf course. With both teams aiming to end the season on a high note, it was Fountain Valley who emerged as the victors with a season-best team score of 187. Although Laguna Beach dropped the match, their score of 212, was the season-low team score and the lowest team score compared to par since 2019, a testament to their hard work and dedication throughout the season. Several players for Laguna also posted their season's low scores, a great accomplishment for the team. The low scorer for Laguna Beach was Russell Franconi-Krychman, who shot an impressive score of 39 (+3) over the 9 holes. Other players who posted season-low scores compared to par included Kiyan Arshadi 41 (+5), Chase Tyson 42 (+6), and Ranen Seeck 44 (+8).
