Plymouth, PA — Pittston Area opened their softball season with a win over WVW 10-0 in 6. Junior sensation Gianna Adams threw a 2 hitter with 15 strike outs. She also led the team with 3 RBI’s. The Lady Patriots had multi hit games from Sophomore newcomer Gabriela Gorzkowski, Ava Callahan, Marina Antal, & Kallie Booth. Adams, Giardina, & Herbert also had a hit. Cassie Hintze, Lili Hintze, Sam Herbert, Antal, & Gorzkowski each added an RBI. The defending State Champions host North Pocono Saturday at Noon in non conference action.
