Easton, PA — The Easton Area Red Rovers stole the lead late in the game in an 11-7 victory over Louis E. Dieruff on Tuesday. The game was tied at seven with Easton batting in the bottom of the sixth when Anthony Suffness tripled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run. Easton earned the victory despite allowing Louis E. Dieruff to score four runs in the first inning. Braden White was the winning pitcher for Easton. White allowed zero hits and zero runs over five and a third innings, striking out five and walking zero. Rowan Galiatto threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen to close it out. Peralta took the loss for Louis E. Dieruff. The Huskie lasted two and a third innings, allowing five hits and four runs while striking out three and walking one. Easton launched a solo home run on the day. George Thomas had a dinger in the second inning. Easton tallied 11 hits on the day. Tony Suffness, George Thomas, Spencer Brooking, and Jake Fulmer all managed multiple hits for the Red Rovers. Suffness led Easton with three hits in four at bats. Easton will host Whitehall on Thursday March 23, 2023 at Charles Richards Field at 4pm.
