Bethlehem, PA — A walk-off left Easton on the wrong end of a 6-5 defeat to Bethlehem Catholic on Wednesday. The game was tied at five with Bethlehem Catholic batting in the bottom of the seventh when Easton made an error to end the game. Easton fired up the offense in the first inning, when Stephen Ricicki doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs. Easton tallied 4 runs in the frame. Jeremy Fyrer got the win for Bethlehem Catholic. The ace allowed three hits and one run over four innings, striking out three and walking zero. Pete Hrousis started the game for Bethlehem Catholic. The bulldog lasted one-third of an inning, allowing one hit and four runs Matt Zingales started the game for the Red Rovers. The pitcher went two and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out three Easton tallied seven hits with Ricicki and Braydon Hubbard each collecting multiple hits for the Rovers. Easton falls to 1-3 on the year and will take on Liberty High School on Saturday April 1, 2023 at 11am.
