Bethlehem, PA — Easton took a 3-0 lead but fell behind 6-3 in the 2nd and couldn't come back in a 6-5 loss to Freedom on Tuesday. Freedom scored on a walk by Talon Collins, a single by Ryan Kullman, a walk by Justin Peluso, a single by Kevin Kullman, and a single by Ryan Hoffman in the second inning. Easton lost despite out-hitting Freedom eight to six. Chase Walker was credited with the victory for Freedom. Walker surrendered two runs on five hits over five innings, striking out six and walking zero. Rowan Galiatto took the loss for the Red Rovers Varsity. Galiatto surrendered six runs on five hits over one and one-third innings, striking out one. Easton hit one home run on the day. Kurtis Crossman had a two run homer in the third inning. Chase Shollenberger and Josh Perry each collected multiple hits for Easton. Perry and Shollenberger all had two hits to lead Easton. Easton travels to Hazleton Saturday at Noon.
